Hamdesal

As most of you know, my work hours starts at six o’clock in the morning. Around eight o’clock at the office, my friends and I would go down and look for food. Going to a near Mcdonald’s branch here in the Philippines, they have this latest breakfast meal: Hamdesal. For Php 54 you can get a Hamdesal with egg, it’s three pesos less than the usual Egg Mcmuffin meal. Ike and I tried it out.

From the first bite, I already know that this meal will not be as filling as the Egg Mcmuffin. The egg wasn’t cooked well to be poached scrambled egg or is it even supposed to be poached to begin with? The bread is, of course, made of pandesal but not as tasty as those freshly made ones. The mayonnaise they used was a little watery?

Honestly, it didn’t really satisfy me. It’s just like buying a cold pandesal then adding half cooked scrambled eggs, a thin slice of ham and a spoonful of mayonnaise. I’d rather buy the Egg Mcmuffin than this one.
