New Year

My apologies for this late article. Maybe last year was a drag for almost everyone but we should not hold grudges or anything bad against one another. This is the 2009 and 2008 is the past. Lift up your head and thank the Lord that you are still blessed. As usual, my family spent the whole day of January first in a private hot spring. It has become a tradition since I could remember. It started from my grand mother (may her soul rest in peace).

Things are going pretty well for me (somehow) on this time of month. I’m sure things will pick up as soon as they are. I haven’t thought of what my new year’s resolution will be but I think I’ll start off on getting myself a driver’s license. I am definitely looking forward on getting new projects when they come.

I am really thankful to my family, friends, and boyfriend for being supportive. I’m starting of another design for my website. Also, I’m happy that my cousin, Jordan, gave me this new laptop. I’m testing it right now. (Hehe) To tell you the truth, this is my first laptop and I’m loving it so much. I’ll just have to learn how to back up the system (since it’s a Windows Vista OS) and install Windows XP. It’s much more reliable than Vista, for me anyway. I do like how they made Vista slick and “visually” entertaining. Then again, if I am to use my laptop for work I have to “upgrade” it to windows XP.

I learned a lot of things on how to create a good (if not the best) online portfolio, so I’ll be fixing my website once again. I’m not rushing the design tho, I still have a lot of other things to do and promises to be made. I’d like to brag more about my new laptop but I’m sure almost everyone is happy and excited to get their own laptop for the first time.
